This program will cover what you need to know to manage pain effectively. Fran Hoh, APN PhD, has developed a pain resource nurse course that she has taught for over 10 years. She will share her experience in this one-hour program on managing pain no matter what your setting.
Pain management must be considered a vital component of healthcare provided to all people regardless of age or severity of illness.
This program will include:
- Assessment of pain
- Opioid and non-opioid pain management
- Use of adjuvants for pain control
- Managing side effects
- Medication titration
